ISS 2007 Laboratory Tours
CUDOS Helped out with Sydney University's International Science School this year, giving 150 international students tours of our laboratories over two days.
On Monday July 9th and Wednesday 11th between 9:00am-10:30am, we entertained 6 groups of 25 students for 30 minutes each. Jeremy Bolger managed the tours, dividing each group into 3 and showing them 3 different laboratories for 10 minutes each.
- Neil Baker and Bill Corcoran showed them gratings and chalcogenide waveguide devices
- Mark Pelusi and Michael Roelens described the BERT testing and telecoms
- Jeremy Bolger and Feng Luan showed them tapering and fibre devices
