Program
This topical workshop will bring together people from CUDOS and a number of Australian and international experts on photodetectors, photonic integration, and plasmonic absorption.
By creating direct interaction between the photodetector community and the unique capabilities of CUDOS in on-chip photonics, we expect the workshop to inspire new research ideas towards the next-generation of fully integrated on-chip photonic platforms.
Invited Speakers
- Prof. Jarek Antoszewski, University of Western Australia (infrared photodetecors)
- A/Prof. Kylie Catchpole, Australian National University (plasmonic enhanced absorption)
- Dr Chandra Natarajan, School of Engineering, Electronic and Nanoscale Engineering Division, University of Glasgow, United Kingdom (superconducting nanowire single-photon detectors)
- Mr Patrik Rath, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany (integrated superconducting single-photon detectors)
Additional presentations will be given by speakers from within CUDOS.
